This is one of their better videos, The High School Tony Awards. I was laughing out loud. It hit it pretty good.

Casa Bonita: Never, ever again!
Tonight we went to Casa Bonita in Lakewood, Colorado, with friends for dinner and a fun evening. Never, ever again.
The food is horrible, bland Mexican food that is full of processed cheese and other unreconizable items. I think it was chicken. They are known for the soapapillas, but they were just ok. Did I mention that it is served cafeteria style?
Don’t get the all you can eat meal. They have them sitting out and just hand them to you. Order something on the menu. At least they have to make it somewhere for you.
I guess Casa Bonita is known for their entertainment, but the cliff divers, shows that push people into the water, and magic show was quite cheesy. I don’t think there was a video game in the arcade that was not at least 30 years old.
They even had a pinata hitting for kids who were having birthday parties there. But the pinata didn’t even have candy in them. The employee pulled out a basket and threw the candy on the floor.
I think the kids had fun, but we won’t be going back. It is quite a rip-off. Save your money and time if you can.
The Onion covers the historical Blockbuster tour
The Onion has done some great service and covered the historical Blockbuster tour that showcases what it used to be like to rent movies.
This was a time before Netflix or iTunes. A great public service to all those young kids out there who didn’t know if you would be able to get the movie you wanted when you went to the rental store.
Here, check it out:

Thanks Onion!
I am a TWIT too!
I like and listen to several of the podcasts that are on twit.tv by Leo Laporte. They are informative, entertaining, and are a great community. I feel that I know many of the people that are on the various podcasts that I listen to.
Well ringtonefeeder has developed a video and has posted it on YouTube and has captured most of what being a TWIT is. Take a look and enjoy.
Thanks to @JasonCalacanis on Twitter for sharing this.
Nine Inch Nails makes their latest album available for free download
Nine Inch Nails has made their latest album, the slip, available for free download on their internet.
It is available in high quality MP3, FLAC lossless, MP4 Apple Lossless, and high quality WAVE.
They have made individual songs available for free on the Internet, but not full albums. Plus have made other versions of their music available online in different formats.
Thanks to Dave Fleet for letting me know about this.
Update: I did download the album, MP3, and it is pretty good. I enjoyed the album and look forward to listening to it again.
A day at Fenway Park
This is a pretty good time lapse video of Fenway Park before, during, and after a game. It has a pan on it so you can see the entire stadium. Good job.
What do you think?
VH1 Classic brings back memories
On my flight today on Frontier Airlines I was watching VH1 Classic andTotally 80’s. The clothing and hair is bad, id don’t remember it bad
then, was it?
The type of music they are playing is quite diverse also. The set
started with Bobby Brown, then to the Go Gos, .38 Special, and then
Depeche Mode. Quite diverse.
For some reason I like the 80’s.
The Making of Flagpole Sitta Lib Dub
A while back I posted a lib dub that set off the craze of lib dubs. The staff at Vimeo did Flagpole Sitta by Harvey Danger and it was wonderful plus they did it in one take. It made me want to work there and made me buy the album by Harvey Danger, Where Have All the Merrymakers Gone?.
Well they have now released a making off video and it really shows how much fun they have working there and doing this lip dub.
Great job!
Colorado Rockies have great television commercials
The Colorado Rockies have great television commercials. The ads are produced in-house and are quite creative. Last years were pretty funny, especially the high altitude baking one.
But they have gotten a lot better this year since the Rockies won the National League last year.
The stars one makes fun of themselves, the Tulo takes advantage of the Tulo chant, Holliday touched it makes a play on words from the play-in game last year, and the best of them all is Spillbourghs’ Spilborghs’ seed lessons.
Veronica Belmont Joins Revision 3 as Tekzilla Cohost
I knew something like this would happen when Veronica Belmont announced that she was leaving Mahalo Daily. She had been helping out as a co-host on Tekzilla a couple times. It is nice to see and I look forward to more from Tekzilla and Revision 3.
Watch the episode.
This show was good. But I think that it will get a lot better with Veronica co-hosting and being at Revision 3. It will be interesting to see how Mahalo Daily evolves.
