What is up with the NBA?

The playoffs this year is the prime example of why I have lost interest in the NBA.
The officiating is poor, the players act like babies, the schedule is all over the place, and the games have devolved into professional wrestling matches.

For example, the Denver Nuggets and Dallas Mavericks last played on Tuesday. Under a normal schedule the two should be playing tonight, but no. They won’t play until Saturday. How does that help with the flow of a series? It doesn’t.

The officials are just concerned with protecting their star players. Take a look at what Kobe did last night. He threw an elbow into the chest of Ron Artest, but was he called for a foul? NO!

Artest was called for something, but I don’t think he fouled Bryant. Then Artest gets tossed.

The players are fighting, hitting, etc. This is not basketball. The Magic – Celtics game is a perfect example last night when one of the players slapped another across the head.

The NBA needs to improve their image or they will continue to lose more fans and more money.
