The problem is that DeepDiscount.com will not be getting anymore books for release on the release date, but since this is the last one, I guess they don’t care.

Well if they hire Rosie for this show I will definitely not watch it anymore.
Her attitudes and the way that she treats people will ruin this show and disgrace all the good things that Bob Barker did to build the brand of the “Price is Right”.

My opinion, don’t hire Rosie.
Comcast had been broadcasting the Colorado Rockies home games in High Definition and then all of the sudden when the New York Yankees come to town, they don’t do it.
What is up?
Comcast has got to be one of the worst cable providers. They do weird stuff and want more money to do anything.
Come on Comcast. Get with it and carry the Rockies in HD!
This is one of the most innovative commercials that I have ever seen. It is great and they are getting some great views on YouTube.

Why can’t Hollywood develop a good, original movie?
Take this movie that they are creating now, Speed Racer. This movie is a remake of a Japanese animated cartoon in the 1970’s that was amazing at the time. But the basic premise was already done.

Well Marriott announced it a while ago and now they are beginning to role out the new TVs and ways to connect to them.
They are putting in a 32″ LCD TV from LG that has a connection box attached to it so you can play your audio and video files. You can also even connect your laptop to it for one big computer monitor.
This is a tremendous move from a hotel chain because I travel a lot and it is impossible to hook anything up to the TVs. I travel with my own media and iPod and I like to watch my own stuff.
Well with this I can.
The connection box will have connections for HDMI, mini-plug, RCA jacks for audio and video, and a 15-pin VCA connector. This should cover most everyone and their travels.
I can’t wait until this is in all their properties. It will be nice to stay at a Marriott.

It is nice to see Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is back.
The quality of TV shows is declining when a show like this does not make it.
This show has not been getting ratings, but the problem with going by that is that they are not taking into account how many people are using their Tivo or DVR to watch the show.
When you add in those numbers, it puts it up there with the most popular shows on television.
The bad thing about this for the network is that the people who are time-shifting this show are the right demographic and have the most disposable income.
The networks are just going to miss out on a good revenue stream and rely on more reality TV. I just won’t be watching.
Backwardfive.com has an interesting look at Studio 60 and how we should treat it. He is going to treat it as a novel and not be too disappointed when it is gone. I guess that is how I am going to have to think about it.
Yesterday on The View Rosie O’Donnell took a conversation that was very interesting and engaging, something that does not happen much on The View, and made it mean and attacked Elizabeth Hasselback. She was attacking Elizabeth for not defending her. There are people every day defending her right to say her idiotic things and she never backs them and she attacks them whenever she gets the chance, and that is our military.
Rosie-what is happening in Iraq to the people of Iraq and our troops is stupid, clan warfare that has been going on for centuries with a little opportunistic terrorism thrown in because our troops are being proactive and fighting terrorism. The only reason why this wasn’t happening before in this country was that people were in fear of Saddam Hussein.
The Iraqi people who are causing this clan warfare need to get with the 21st Century and learn that you can’t get anywhere by blowing people up or killing them just because they are a different religion or clan than yourself. Many Iraqis were happy when we came over there and removed Saddam from power.
He was a madman who was killing whole cultures and driving his country into the ground. But than instead of trying to move forward, they started trying to get even for years of tyranny and that was not right.
The Iraqi government needs to be the solution here and if they can’t do it, a new government needs to be brought in. It is a tough job, but they have to do it. Otherwise the whole middle east is going to implode and there will be a new war.

Scientology followers are harassing a journalist from England who is trying to do a story on their “religion” or how I think of it, a cult.
I agree with the BBC reporter, John Sweeney, that their actions are weird, sinister and outright scary.
In an article that was run on the BBC website, “Row over Scientology video“, he describes the harassment he has experienced since he started working on his story that will air soon on the BBC.
With all his experiences and other things that I have seen and heard, this group is nuts and definitely a cult.
I am awaiting NBC‘s decision on when Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip will return.
For some reason, NBC has placed Studio 60 on hiatus because it hasn’t been getting the ratings. But if you add in the statistics of people who are recording it on their DVR and watching it later versus live, the numbers are a lot higher. That doesn’t even take into account the number of people who are buying it on iTunes.
In the meantime, NBC is running programming that is horrible and not even worth watching. Need I mention the show The Real Wedding Crashers airing tomorrow night?

Bring back Studio 60. According to a post in TV Squad, Studio 60 is still filming and will have 22 episodes in the can. If you don’t want to bring it back, put up the rest of the episodes on iTunes so I can purchase them.
It was one of the best shows on television and NBC’s ratings will only go lower if this is gone. TV Squad also had a good post on why Studio 60 won’t be brought back and 30 Rock will be.
