How to Make Stikkit into Your Personal GTD Powerhouse · The Cranking Widgets Blog
I keep trying to see what will work for me on managing all the junk that I have to do.  I am coming back to Stikkit.

Will have to see if this will work for me.  There is always so much going on, I need to do something with GTD.

I have had some frutstrations with Stikkit before.  Will see if they get resolved or I stay with Backpack.

A more fair US Open today

The U.S. Open was by far more fair to the golfers today than yesterday.
If you hit it in the fairway and hit the greens, you could score.  If you didn’t, you were penalized.  That is the way it is supposed to be.

Tiger Woods did a great job of course management until the 18th hole.  He just missed some puts he should have made earlier in the round.  Aaron Baddeley had a wonderful round including getting a birdie on the last hole.

It is going to be a fun day tomorrow with Woods and Baddeley in the last group.

Mothers planning ‘nurse-in’ at Elitch’s

Mothers planning ‘nurse-in’ at Elitch’s
I just want to say good for them.

My wife breast-fed both of our kids and they should be able to breast feed them anywhere and at anytime, especially in places where the public is allowed.

Breast feeding is a natural process of raising kids and a provides some great nurturing for the kids.  It worked great for us. Continue reading “Mothers planning ‘nurse-in’ at Elitch’s”

How To: Get Safari’s best features in Firefox – Lifehacker

How To: Get Safari’s best features in Firefox – Lifehacker
Lifehacker has a pretty good story on how to incorporate the best Safari attributes in Firefox.

This is great because the security concerns that are arising in the beta release of Safari.  But Apple has released a new update to hopefully address these concerns.

Also, Wired Magazine did some benchmarks and found out that Safari 3 is slower than IE and Firefox.

We will just have to see as things shake out and if Safari 3 for Windows comes out of beta.

The Denver Post – Credit-card hitch at pump

The Denver Post – Credit-card hitch at pump
Credit Card companies have a policy in place that limits the amount that you can purchase with a credit card at the pump.

Since the price of gas is going through the roof, coming down a little now, many more people are hitting those limits.  I haven’t personally hit that limit and I am paying  more than $50 for a tank of gas. Continue reading “The Denver Post – Credit-card hitch at pump”

US Open – Too Tough

The U.S. Open is supposed to be a tough, but fair test, but it is not being fair today.
But with scores soaring today and players unable to keep their approach shots on the green, it is not a fair test for the players.

If you are in the fairway and land the ball at the front of the green and it is so fast that it rolls off the back, then it is not fair.

The U.S. Open has gone too far in this U.S. Championship.  Make it fair so it is fun for the players and fans.

Jott is cool

I found out about a new service while watching CommandN, Episdode 92.
Jott is a service that allows you to call a number, tell them who you want to Jott, and then record your message. They then transcribe your message and send an email and text message to who you are jotting.

It is cool so far. Let me see if I am going to use it and how my friends and co-workers like it.

I’ll find out tomorrow.

I’ll Vouch for David Meerman Scott – He Did Write a Book

I will vouch that David Meerman Scott has published a book so his mom will know.
He just posted a YouTube video having everyone who attended his keynote show his mom the book.

I attended the Vocus User Conference and have a copy of the book. I am just starting to read it and it is interesting and I hope to learn a lot from it. It was good to hear him speak and he had a lot of good points on how the world of marketing and PR is evolving and changing.

Here is the Book: The New Rules of Marketing and PR: How to Use News Releases, Blogs, Podcasting, Viral Marketing and Online Media to Reach Buyers Directly

If you know where to look, you can see me.
